Changing the access control profile of documents on the Clipboard

You can change the access control profile of documents on the Clipboard in one operation. This is faster than changing the access control profile of the documents one at a time.

Note    Changing the access control profile of folders with the Clipboard is not supported.

To change the access control profile of documents on the Clipboard:

  1. Add the documents to the Clipboard that you want to change as described in Adding items to the Clipboard.
  2. View the documents on the Clipboard as described in Viewing the Clipboard contents.
  3. Confirm that you want to change the access control profile of all of the documents on the Clipboard. If not, remove the items that you do not want to change as described in Clearing the Clipboard. The document list refreshes to show that the selected documents have been removed.
  4. In the ribbon, in the Mass operations group, click Change ACPs.

  5. Select an access control profile from the Target access control profile list.
  6. Click Preview. A page appears that lists the documents on the Clipboard and the access control profile to which each will be changed.
  7. Confirm that you want to proceed with the changes. If not, click Cancel to abort the change.
  8. Click Confirm changes. A page appears that lists the changes that were made.
  9. Click View clipboard to compare the changes to any remaining items on the Clipboard.
